Co – President – Vikki Spiteri at

I am a former 7/8th grade school teacher and  library media specialist, and a current stay at home mom, with a 1st grade son and a 3rd grade daughter at Roosevelt. I also work/volunteer at St. Paul of the Cross. My favorite color is teal and I love being in nature especially near the ocean. I love baking, photos and crafty projects.

Co – President – Alexis Rodgers at

I am a School Counselor at Emerson Middle School, and I have a 5th grade son and a 3rd grade son at Roosevelt. My favorite rainy day activity is playing Boggle with my family.

Co – Vice President – April Mosier at

I am mom of Finn and Poppy, first grade twins. I have been an early childhood educator for 15+ years. I love photography, art and creating “stuff”. We love the Michigan coast and hope to move there one day.

Co – Vice President – Toni Binz at

I currently work full time and started out as a school social worker. For the past 11 years I have been a Special Education Coordinator in the western suburbs. I have three kids, two of which attend Roosevelt, with one son in 5th and another son in 3rd grade. I have volunteered at Roosevelt for many years as a room mom and I look forward to being a part of the PTO team. My favorite things are eating pizza, being super organized and making lists!

Treasurer – Karen Larson at

I have been accounting my whole career and I am currently the Accounting Manager at the Park Ridge Park District.  I have two boys at Roosevelt – 5th grade and 4th grade.  I firmly believe that the best days include pastries, books, board games, yarn and pastries again. Oh, I forgot pies, pies and more pies!

Recording Officer – Oksana Waters at

For the last couple of years, I have enjoyed taking a break from years of working in Human Resources to be a stay-at-home mom. I have two daughters at Roosevelt, one in fourth grade and the other in fifth. I love a good puzzle and really dark chocolate.  My kids think you should know that I make really yummy pizza and am good at tie dying things.

Corresponding Officer – Kelly Skogsbakken at

I am a 2nd grade teacher at a school in Glenview and am fortunate enough to job share. I have a daughter in 2nd grade and a son in Kindergarten at Roosevelt. When I am not watching my kids’ sporting events, I enjoy watching Indiana basketball. Go Hoosiers! This is my first year on the PTO board, and I am excited to work with  the other board members to make this a great year for Roosevelt School and our children.
