Co –  President – April Mosier at

I am very excited to be a part of the PTO Executive Board for my second year. I have twins, Finn and Poppy, who are in 2nd grade. I am an Early Childhood Educator for almost 20 years. I love photography, art, and we love to travel. I love being on the PTO Board working alongside such great people and being a part of such a dedicated school community. The Roosevelt Community is awesome!

Co – President – Toni Binz at

I currently work full time and started out as a school social worker. For the past 12 years I have been a Special Education Coordinator in the western suburbs. I have three kids, two of which attend Roosevelt, with one son in 4th and one daughter in kindergarten. I have volunteered at Roosevelt for many years as a room mom, as a co-vice president of the PTO last year, and now as a co-president. I look forward to continuing my role as a PTO b board member this year. My favorite things are eating pizza, being super organized and making lists!

Co – Vice President Melissa Kalinowski at

I’m a full time work at home mom working in the health care industry.  I’m fortunate to have the flexibility to be here for my kids, Caden (5th), Mia (4th) and Lauren (2nd). When I’m not running around for kid’s activities, I love CrossFit, catching up with friends and exploring the world with our family.  I hope to help make positive impacts at Roosevelt.

Co – Vice President Deannine Weber-Ronan

Co – Treasurer – Beth Purtell at

My husband and I moved to Park Ridge in 2011. We have three children and two of them attend Roosevelt. My oldest son (Will) is in third grade, my daughter (Erin) is in first and my youngest (Jake) is in pre k. I’m currently a stay at home mom, but was previously in sales at Advocate Healthcare.
I have volunteered as a room mom and pizza day and wanted to get more involved this year. This is my first year on the board and looking forward to an exciting year ahead!

Co -Treasurer Carly Ott at

I am a CPA currently working full time in the Wealth Management department of a bank. I have two kids at Roosevelt – a son in 4th grade and a daughter in 1st grade.  I enjoy reading Harry Potter with my daughter and watching Survivor with my son. As a first year board member, I am blown away by the dedication and effort of all of our volunteers that make Roosevelt such an amazing community.

Recording Officer – Kelly Skogsbakken at

I am a 2nd grade teacher at a school in Glenview and am fortunate enough to job share. I have a daughter in 3rd grade and a son in 1st grade at Roosevelt. I have been a part of the Roosevelt PTO in various roles such as a room parent, as the corresponding secretary last year, and as the recording secretary this year. I am enjoying “blasting” all the great things happening at Roosevelt this year to our school community! When I am not watching my kids’ sporting events, I enjoy cooking, yoga, and watching movies.

Corresponding Officer – Kate Hannigan at

I have a daughter in second grade at Roosevelt and a son in Pre-K at Park Ridge Park District.  I spend a lot of my time trying to be helpful, including serving as the Corresponding Officer on your PTO Board this year.  I enjoy spending time with friends and family.  When my family gets a break in our schedule, we like to plan adventures both locally and out of town.
